This children’s book is a story about a little girl named Jessica who’s best friend is a small white bear named Whitey. Jessica and Whitey do everything together. However, this story is about a day Jessica almost lost her special bear forever. The story takes place on Christmas Eve. Jessica’s grandparents are taking her and whitey to a department store to see Santa Claus. After Jessica and whitey tell Santa what they want for Christmas, Jessica sees a choo choo train in the department store and asks her grandparents to let her and whitey ride the train. The store is about to close and Jessica did not want to get off the train. Her grandfather took her off the train and she was too sad to notice that she forgot whitey on the train. Whitey was sad and was left in the department store over night. When Jessica got home she couldn’t find whitey anywhere. Her grandparents realized whitey must have been left on the train. The next morning Jessica is reunited with whitey and she promises to never leave him again. Less
