Using their own fingerprints as the main attraction, students create three cute ladybugs on their "canvas". They then add dots to their ladybugs and count the total number of dots.

This simple and fun activity reinforces counting, numeral writing, and addition. It can be used as a stand-alone activity or as the canvas for pattern frames.
