Song Lyrics for Albert Einstein
Everywhere I go…
I know you know the name, Albert Einstein
Follow along and Imma give you the timeline
Born in Germany in 1879
When I was five my dad’s compass challenged my mind
I wondered why the needle always pointed to the north
Now science on my mind, setting me on course
I went to ETH, it’s like an Ivy league
And renounced my German citizenship at 17
I founded the theory of relativity
That explains physics works, change relative to me
So If I run towards the wind, does it blow me backwards?
But if I run away, is it blowing faster?
That’s relative, either answer’s right
But the thing that always stays the same is speed of light
That’s just the start man, it’s really complicated
Some people hate but look what I created
In 1921, my biggest achievement yet
I won the Nobel, for the photoelectric effect
So when light touches metal, it can pass electrons
Meaning you could start a circuit by turning lights on
After World War I, became a citizen
Of Germany again, but Hitler wanted to get it in
So I fled to the US and wrote the President
I convinced him Nagasaki was evidence
I worked at Princeton for the rest of my days
Became a US citizen the rest of the way
I’ve been a genius, I’m ahead of my time
When it comes to great minds, I’m at the front of the line
But in 1955, I passed away
But my legacy on earth, it’s gonna stay
You cannot change it, it’s like the speed of light
My theory of relativity was my life
