Welcome Friends. Today we will be learning about insulators. An insulator is something that slows down interactions. Today, we will be looking at how fast I smell. Right now, I'd like you to predict which of these insulators are cardboard box. Our styrofoam container. And aluminum tin can. Irregular brown paper bags, or no insulin, will help slow down the ice melting, the fastest. Take a minute to think. And each bag, there are two ice cubes that have not melted yet. Now I put a bag in each of our insulators. Now I left this one out because this is our control. So that we will have something to measure it against. Now the time is 9 11. We're gonna come back in a couple minutes to see which of our ice cubes has melted the least. Time is now ten 20, let's check in on our ice. Our control ice has not completely melted, but it is pretty melted. Let's check in with our results. The aluminum tin can melt it almost as much as our control ice. Our cardboard box melted a little bit less. Then our aluminum tin can. And we compare the two. You can see that there is less liquid in the cardboard box. Our paper bag, guys. Did a little bit better than our cardboard, as you can see, there is even less liquid in the bag. Our champion ends later, the styrofoam ice melts at the least out of all of our insulators. Notice how there is very little liquid when compared to the control with no insulator.
