The intended audience is my self-contained classroom of students with low incidence disabilities. The video provides visuals along with the narration. It could be shown in class at the beginning of a community helpers unit. It could also be watched throughout the unit to refresh student memories.
Description: At large retail stores, inventory needs to be counted using a scanner on a regular basis. This lets the store know when to bring in new inventory, track popular items, identify how much will be moved to a new location for clearance, etc. In this video an employee is tracking inventory because the entire section is moving to another location in the store and she wants to make sure no items get lost in the move.
Description: DVDs get sent to large retail stores with plastic and tape on them. The plastic and tape needs to be removed so customers are able to purchase just one DVD. The DVDs need to be stocked in alphabetical order. In this video an employee is taking all of the green tape off of the DVDs.
