This is a great idea...if you use Landscape orientation you can create timelines by placing your text and art along the top of the columns and stretching from left to right.

this is a good way to help students and even teachers to follow directions to make charts in Microsoft Excel. It gives good step by step directions so the teacher and students do not get lost trying to follow it.

This really can involve students in learning with computers instead of being lectured or quizzed from computers. Tools are always useful. This could make a great math poster if you included some numbers and formulas, which Excel is made for.
