Curriculum Initiatives | A Data-Driven Approach | Central Consolidated Schools

Central Consolidated School District's teachers and staff are continually working toward improved teaching practices that will prepare students for the next step of their education. Coordinator of Data Assessment & Compliance, James Lowe, led the Data Deep Dive during which district staff was guided in interpreting the PARCC testing data for each school, using it to focus and refine their approach to student learning for college & career readiness. These initiatives are part of Central Consolidated School District's revamped curriculum plan, which follows common core standards. These standards introduce increased academic rigor in the classroom and focus on a holistic educational approach which holds students to higher standards that will better prepare them to reach their goals in the future.
