How to change font in tinkercad
Technology in the Classroom
Now that you have your file renamed with your name and the title of the project, it's time to change the text so that it matches your country. So you're going to double click on the word text and the shape control box will pop up. If you want to come over and in the box that says text, you want to change it to the name of your country. I'm going to write the United States of America. So that I can show you how you're going to need to resize it if your words are way too big. So if I zoom out clearly, it's too large to fit on the plate, and as the direction state, you can not change the size of the plate. So to change the word so that they fit on the plate, all you really need to do is click on them. And then you're going to be looking for the middle gray box on the side. And if you click the one in the middle, not the ones on the other on the side so that it's highlighted red, when you drag it, it'll shrink. Without changing the location of your words, and I'm going to swing around and do the other side. You might need to get rid of this box. So it's easier to see. I'm going to find, again, that middle gray box. I'm going to squish it this way. Now when I look at it straight on, you can see it fits nicely with in my plate. And if I rotate it around, there's no gap between the red section and the white section. At this point, your plate is complete unless you wanted to add some additional words and phrases around it. You can see the final tutorial video for some ideas.
