Creating a podcast is a fun and exciting way to share your ideas and information. Check out these basic tips to help you get started. Step one, do your homework, have you ever even listened to a podcast? No, you probably should. And if you have, think about what you've listened to. What kept you listening? What was amazing? What was boring? Take note and use it for your own podcast. Another thing to keep in mind is making sure that you know your equipment. You don't need anything fancy to create a podcast. Just a simple cell phone in a computer will do. But make sure that you know how to operate them. Step two, play in your podcast. Start by asking yourself these questions. Why am I creating this podcast? What will I be talking about? And who will be my audience? Once you can answer these questions, it'll help you to see your big picture. And once you have your big picture, you can create an awesome name for your podcast. Another important part of planning will be determining the setup of your show and potential guests. Try to write a script, it'll help keep you on track. And try to stay within a 15 to 20 minute time limit. Step three record your podcast. You can use the voice memo or audio recording button on your cell phone. Once you've recorded your interviews, your information in any other sounds that you might need, make sure to put it all together. Don't forget to include your intro and outro music, step four, share your podcast. There are a lot of great websites that you can upload your podcast to, including Spotify and audacity. Make sure to include a little bit of information about your podcast and the episode that you've recorded. Congratulations, you've just recorded a podcast. Way to go.
