How to Write a Body Paragraph

This narrated tutorial uses an acronym, ICEES, to teach students how to write a body paragraph supported by evidence from outside texts. It describes the five components of a body paragraph as: Idea (topic sentence), Cited evidence, Elaboration and Explanation, and a Summary. It models the process using an informative essay example. It was designed for a standard 6th grade ELA class.
