Intro Video
Elementary
Hi, and welcome to second grade at patronus elementary. My name is miss hannon, and I'm gonna be your first teacher here on this wonderful journey through elementary school. I can't wait to learn all about you in the classroom. But here's a little video so you can learn a little bit about me before you come. Some of the things I love are my animals. I have a little black cat named claws who hates her photo being taken, but I have a little white dog that's an American bulldog that loves her photo being taken and her name is scout. She's 5 years old and my cat is 16 years old. I come from a family of 5 people. I have a mom, a dad. I have one brother and one sister. My brother right here in the middle is two years older than me. That's my dad, my mom, my doggie, and my little sister who's 5 years younger than me. She's one of my closest friends to this day. I actually don't live with my parents though. I live with a roommate, my best friend Angela who have known for 5 years. She's an accountant and works with math every day. This is a picture of me and her when we went to Orlando for our birthday. And we went to Disney World. One of the other things we love are roller coasters. They are so much fun. I bet you love roller coasters too. Some of my other friends are actually teachers as well. I love making friends with other teachers who do the same thing as me. I met these girls back when I was in school at FSU in college. You'll make friends throughout your school time that will last a lifetime. So these are my Friends actually in one of our classes where we were learning about different cultures and this was during Hispanic heritage month. This was at our taco party that's me, my best friend laney and my best friend Cara, who are all elementary teachers teaching kids just like you. Some other things that you should know about me is I love to travel. Throughout my classroom, you'll see things all over it and feel free to ask. I have a Tapestry on my wall from Morocco. Knickknacks from Mexico and Australia, things from a sound instrument from Fiji. I love going somewhere new every summer and immersing myself in their culture and then bringing things back to share with my students year after year. This is a picture of me when I traveled inside the states. I went out to the west this past summer and I visited the Grand Canyon. This was antelope canyon, a beautiful canyon made by a river through a mountain, and then this is a picture of me in Australia. Next to a really beautiful waterfall on the mountain. I absolutely love traveling. So I can't wait to hear all about where you're from in the culture you're from. Well, that's all about me, and I can't wait to hear all about you in class, and I look forward to meeting you in class next week. Go Panthers and see you soon.
