SDAIE Pair Check EL Strategy

Students in cooperative pairs work on drill and practice activities. Students have worksheets. One student answers first question while second student acts as coach then roles are reversed and shared with another student pair.. If all agree on answers, process continues. Teacher may assist but EL's have non-intimidating one-one-one coaching practicing English which builds self-esteem and promotes learning.
