Using Instagram in a Learning Environment

Hello, everyone. I'd like to introduce you to our classroom Instagram page. The intent of using this Instagram is to extend your learning through educational hashtags. This is also a way for you to share work with others and to connect with others. My motive to use Instagram is twofold. Each night I will post something in the news that is related to the coursework. You will need to first follow me, then comment on my post, answering the question that's posted. Also, you'll have to comment on someone else's comment. We'll also use it for authentic online relationships, which are more important now than ever. So let's look at Instagram together. Once you set up your account, you will get a homepage that looks like this. This is my insta. Economics today at BT. You can see my name. You can see how many posts I've made, how many followers I have and how many I am following. Look at the icons in the upper right hand corner. If you hover over the icons, you'll see what they do. Let's establish some groundwork. It's important that when you do send a direct message to anyone, you've taken the time to research the person's feed. If you were to connect with a Financial Times columnist, like Martin wolf, or economist Camilla Cavendish, you may want to mention how you enjoy their posts. You should get a feel for their mannerisms and writing and try to mirror that writing in the direct message that you sent. You can see there's a search bar to get the most out of hashtags use the search bar to find the most recent posts on the topic. You can also see all of the instance you are following. If you hover over the search bar, this form of communication can lead to a strategic partnership, or even an internship, which could lead to more in the future. So what kind of communication can you add? How about critiquing? You can communicate with students that graduated from this high school. And went on to attend the college that is your dream school. Don't forget, you can use Instagram to document your work or to indicate where and what you have learned using Instagram. Authentic relationships are monumental in growing your Instagram network. Use Instagram as a platform to showcase your knowledge, your skills, and personality. Don't forget to check for the daily post and to make the required comments. Thanks everyone.
