Classroom Brain Breaks - Pass the Book

Name: Pass the book Grade: K-5 Time: 5 Minutes Type:Partner Formation:Standing back to back with partner Where/How:Standing in place Equipment: One book per pair Music: To play during game if desired Directions: Students will push in their chairs and work with a partner. Students will stand back to back with a partner assigned. While students are standing back to back they will try to see how many times they can pass the book to each other in this order without making a mistake for 30 seconds (over, under, side to side). 1. Over their heads 2. Through their legs 3. Side to side, Right to left and left to right Students can get a new partner and keep going until everyone has switched a few times.
