Classroom Brain Breaks - The mime

Grade: K-5 Time: 5 Minutes Type: Partner Formation: Standing toe to toe with partner, take 1 step back Where/How: Standing in place Equipment: Music- To play during game if desired Directions:  Students will push in their chairs and work with a partner. Students will toe to toe with a partner assigned.   While students are standing facing each other one student will be assigned to be the mime and the other the reflection.   The mime will move their hands or legs and their partner will copy their moves while standing in their spot. One hand, two hands, a finger, a foot, up, down, side ways, etc.   Switch roles after a minute. Switch partners if desired. Challenge students to concentrate and to move in slow motion.
