Third Grade Lesson Plan on the Four Seasons

This is a lesson for a third grade class on the four seasons. They begin by filling out the first two columns of a KWL chart. When they are finished, they will watch a quick video clip on the four seasons. Once the video is over, they will head back to their desks and discuss with a partner what they just watched and hopefully learned from the video. In this lesson we also create a model of an earth rotating on its axis out of clay, and they also design their own Earth cycle diagrams. There is also a quick vocabulary game at the very end of the lesson. We conclude the lesson by filling out the last column of the KWL chart.
