The Art 2/3 students of Carolina High School were challenged to create a sculpture using the 3 styles of art: representational, abstract, and non-objective. These students chose a random culture to draw inspiration from for their projects. At the end of the class period, the students were required to present their projects to the opposing group, my self, and my CT. The main objective for this lesson was to push the students to think outside the representational mindset and work together to successfully create a work inspired by a culture they knew little about.
