Clean Ocean Action World Water Day Celebration at Jenkinson's Aquarium

World Water Day is a day of recognition set aside by the United Nations to emphasize the importance of clean water in our world. Here at Clean Ocean Action, we planned a World Water Day Extravaganza where we ask teachers to plan a lesson about our waterways and then watch our program. We are recommending a few videos (one for each grade level) to initiate and invigorate a conversation in your classrooms about the impact humans have on water quality. Visit cleanoceanaction.org for information on these videos. On World Water Day we visited Jenkinson's Aquarium and took a tour of their facilities. We met amazing creatures, interviewed aquarium staff, and addressed some questions from students.
