Teaching Philosophy

Above is a video I created that contains 11 photos of my teaching philosophy. The photos will share with you my views on teaching and education. My photos share that a teacher is not just someone who stands in front of the class and gives out demands. A teacher is someone who inspires, guides, enlightens, motivates, praises, encourages, instructs, etc. As teachers it is important to understand the diversity among our students in our classroom. No two children learn the same way. It's important to involve them in their learning and teach them the way they learn best. Technology is one of the many ways to involve children in their learning. With technology, what they can learn is limitless. The photo of the hands is a visual that every child wants to grow up and be something different. We literally have the future of the world in our classroom. Most importantly, at the end of the day, they may forget what we said or what we taught, but they will never forget how we, as teachers, made them feel. Teachers who love to teach, teach their students to truly love learning.
