Private boys and girls is miss henriksen here. I hope that you enjoyed your spring break and had a fun time with your family. As you know, probably school is going to look a little bit different for the next couple of weeks. And even though I'm bummed, but I won't get to see you all, and we won't get to be together in our classroom in the same way. I'm quite excited about our opportunity to take our learning online for a while. I think it will be exciting. And we'll get to learn something new. So you may or may not know, some adults and grown-ups are a little bit nervous about doing this whole learning online thing. But what I think is I think you guys are really the experts here because you are great with technology. I have seen you in the classroom with iPads, working with the laptops and computer class and you guys are so great with technology. So I'm not worried about you. I think this is really your time to shine. Your time to shine as you learn online. There's a little rhyme. But I do think it's going to be a great experience. So remember, as we head into this week and the next few weeks, remember that we're all learning, not just you, your parents will be learning. I will be learning and the other teachers at PPA will also be learning how to get online, teach online, learn online, so we can be patient with each other and work together and stay positive. Let's find the things that we enjoy about this type of learning. So yeah, I said let's remember that we're all learning and be patient with one another and be flexible. Remember, we talked about that in my classroom. What it means to be flexible and go with the flow as needed. So this week, you won't have as many assignments and work to do that you will next week. But it's still an important week this week. I need you to work together by listening to your parents or whoever is at home helping you with your work. And pay attention, figure out how do you log into the online class during that we'll have. And how do you get your work and see your work? See if you can help the adult that's with you, do that. And hopefully you can even do some of it on your own. So really pay attention this week and get ready to go into the next few weeks of online learning. Later in the week, maybe Thursday or Friday, there will be some time where you can log on to what will be our online classroom. And we'll get to talk live. So you won't just be watching me talk to you. But we'll get to talk to each other and actually come together as a class online. So I look so forward to seeing you there and I'm excited about all the new things that we're going to have. So first graders, go ahead and put on your explorer hat because we're really explores we're heading into uncharted waters and we're going to try some new things together. So I'm excited to jump into this new season with you. And I will be talking to you this week and I can't wait to see you in the online classroom.
