Part 2 of presentation at Martin Luther King, Jr. MS in Germantown, MD. Henry Greenbaum was born Chuna Grynbaum in Starachowice, Poland, on April 1, 1928. During the war he and his family were forced into the ghetto then some of his family was deported to Treblinka while he was sent to work at a labor camp in 1942. He was transferred to Aushwitz in 1944, then to Flossenburg then Dachau. After his liberation in 1945 he reunited with two brothers and a sister while immigrating to New York in 1946. He and his late wife Shirley settled in Bethesda MD. They have 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
