Independent variable: size of the cover (in this video I use a 600ml beaker and a 250 ml beaker(cup)) Dependent variable: Time a candle burns Procedure: Clear table of all non-investigation materials Place candle on table clear of any items Light candle Use stopwatch to time how long the candle stays lit as you choose a flask to test and invert flask over candle and record your data and observations Repeat step 4 two more times for a total of three trials Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the other sized flask
